Nipples
Pipe and swage nipples with bevel weld and male NPT ends in a range of schedules and lengths.
Overview
Pipe and swage nipples with bevel weld and male NPT ends in a range of schedules and lengths. This range covers 6 variants: Pipe Nipple (NBPL x NBPL), Pipe Nipple (NBPL x NPTM), Pipe Nipple (NPTM x NPTM), Swage Nipple (NBPL x NBPL), Swage Nipple (NBPL x NPTM), Swage Nipple (NPTM x NPTM). Pipe Nipple (NBPL x NBPL) — A pipe nipple with plain bevelled ends at both extremities is prepared for butt welding into a pipe run, providing a short length of pipe with correctly machined weld preparations. Pipe Nipple (NBPL x NPTM) — This nipple transitions from a welded connection at one end to a male NPT thread at the other, bridging welded and threaded sections of a system. Pipe Nipple (NPTM x NPTM) — A double male NPT nipple connects two female-threaded ports, available in close, short and long lengths to suit the required separation. Swage Nipple (NBPL x NBPL) — A swage nipple reduces pipe size over a short tapered length while presenting bevelled weld ends at both extremities. Concentric and eccentric forms are available. Swage Nipple (NBPL x NPTM) — This swage nipple both reduces pipe size and transitions from a welded to a threaded connection in a single component. Swage Nipple (NPTM x NPTM) — A threaded swage nipple reduces pipe size between two female-threaded ports without any welding.
