Overview

A sampling bomb is a pressure-rated cylinder used to draw a representative sample of a process fluid and transport it to the laboratory without loss of light ends or contamination. Needle valves at both ends allow the sample to be isolated at process pressure, and options include rupture discs, purge valves and protective carrying cages.
