This range covers 10 variants: Male Connector (Imperial) - MCN, Male Connector (Metric) - MCN, Male Connector BSP Taper - MCB, Male Connector BSPP - MCBP, Bulkhead Male Connector, Male Elbow NPT - MEN, Male Elbow BSP Taper - MEB, Male Elbow NPT 45° - METN, Male Run Tee, Male Branch Tee. Male Connector (Imperial) - MCN — A male connector terminates an imperial tube run into a male NPT pipe thread, forming the most common transition between tubing and threaded process equipment. The tube side seals on the twin-ferrule mechanism while the pipe side seals on the tapered thread, so a single fitting bridges two entirely different sealing systems. Male Connector (Metric) - MCN — The metric male connector performs the same tube-to-pipe transition as the imperial version but accepts metric tube outside diameters from 3 mm to 25 mm. Ferrules are dimensioned specifically for metric tube wall thicknesses, which matters because using imperial ferrules on metric tube is a frequent and avoidable cause of joint failure. Male Connector BSP Taper - MCB — This connector terminates a tube run in a male BSP tapered (BSPT) thread to ISO 7, the prevailing pipe thread standard across European, Indian and Asian process plant. Sealing on the pipe side is achieved on the thread flanks, generally assisted by PTFE tape or an anaerobic sealant. Male Connector BSPP - MCBP — The BSPP variant uses a parallel British Standard Pipe thread, which does not seal on the threads themselves. Sealing is instead achieved on a face using a bonded washer or O-ring, giving a more repeatable and reusable joint than a tapered thread and allowing the fitting to be oriented precisely on final tightening. Bulkhead Male Connector — A bulkhead male connector combines panel mounting with a tube-to-male-pipe transition, letting a tube run pass through an enclosure wall and terminate directly into threaded equipment on the far side. The extended body accepts a locknut so the panel carries the mechanical load. Male Elbow NPT - MEN — A male elbow combines a 90° direction change with a tube-to-male-NPT transition in one body, saving both space and a potential leak path compared with fitting a separate elbow and connector. It is widely used where a transmitter or gauge port faces an awkward direction relative to the incoming tube run. Male Elbow BSP Taper - MEB — This elbow performs a 90° turn while terminating in a male BSP tapered thread to ISO 7, suiting plant built to European and Asian piping standards. The tube side retains the standard twin-ferrule connection. Male Elbow NPT 45° - METN — A 45° male elbow provides a shallower direction change than a standard 90° elbow, which is useful for easing tube routing around obstructions without introducing the flow restriction and installed stress of a tight bend. Male Run Tee — A male run tee places the male pipe thread on the straight run of the tee, with tube connections on the remaining ports. This configuration is used when an instrument must be mounted inline on a continuing tube run rather than at its termination. Male Branch Tee — A male branch tee places the male pipe thread on the branch port while the tube run passes straight through. It is the standard way to take a gauge or transmitter connection off the side of a continuing impulse line.
