Overview

Seamless and welded instrumentation tubing to ASTM A269 and A213 in imperial and metric sizes, fully annealed with controlled hardness for reliable ferrule sealing. This range covers 2 variants: Imperial Tubing, Metric Tubing. Imperial Tubing — Imperial instrumentation tubing is supplied fully annealed with a bright annealed surface finish, in outside diameters from 1/16" to 1". Hardness is controlled to a maximum of 80 HRB, which matters because tubing that is harder than the ferrule will not allow the ferrule to bite correctly and the joint will leak. Supplied with mill test certificates traceable to heat number. Metric Tubing — Metric instrumentation tubing covers outside diameters from 3 mm to 25 mm in the same fully annealed condition and controlled hardness as the imperial range. It should always be paired with metric-dimensioned ferrules, as mixing imperial and metric components is a common cause of joint failure.
