Forged globe valves in 800#, 1500# and 2500# classes for regulating and shut-off duty. This range covers 3 variants: Globe Valve 800#, Globe Valve 1500#, Globe Valve 2500#. Globe Valve 800# — A globe valve seats a plug against a horizontal seat ring, forcing the flow to change direction through the body. That geometry gives it far better throttling characteristics than a gate valve, at the cost of higher pressure drop. The 800# class suits general regulating duty. Globe Valve 1500# — The 1500# globe valve provides controlled throttling and positive shut-off at elevated pressures, with a reinforced body and bonnet. Globe Valve 2500# — The 2500# class delivers the highest standard pressure rating in the range for severe-service regulating and isolation duty.
